A Seed Educator is a mission driven healthcare professional who shares our view that there should not be two standards of healthcare in the world and that it is possible - over time, with humility, with collaboration, and with thoughtful, targeted, grounded ingenuity - to change that status quo.
These educators help invest in and support the fundamental human capacity needed to create lasting local change. Through the power of education, training, mentorship and modeling, they can help transform health systems by supporting the people who are its backbone.
Educators work with their in-country counterparts and institutions to help meet critical health education, practice, and policy priority needs identified by our partners. Together, they advance health professionals’ education in the classroom and clinical setting and enhance their ability to deliver services effectively and sustainably where needed the most.
